Marius signed for the Wolves in July 2024 after an impressive career in Romania, where he was regarded as one of the top youth prospects in the country. The centre-back has been capped at U18, U19 and U21, as well as captaining the side. In addition to the success in his home country, Marius had a spell in the Indian Super League as near as last season. The 24-year-old is also a Romanian FA Cup champion, as well as winning the Super Cup the following season with Viitorul.
