George joined the Wolves as Assistant manager to Ion Vintila following his departure from New Salamis after 11 years at the club. Throughout that time, George took New Salamis from Sunday League to Step 5 status. George has also managed fellow SSML side Colney Heath. George has an illustrious playing career, playing championship football at Fulham, as well as professionally in Cyprus over a 5 year period. George returned to English and played at the very top level of non-league football to the very bottom, most notably still holding the record for the most goals scored in the least amount of games for the now defunct Purfleet/Thurrock.
